2026 Canadian Private Banking, Fall Data Analyst (8 months)

What will you do?

• Independently lead assigned data mining & analytics work as part of a larger team, demonstrating collaboration and curiosity
• Assist in driving future state reporting and advanced analytics for private banking to enable a fact base strategy utilizing internal and external data and insight
• Assist in driving insight from Private Banking data and competitive landscape in terms of what the data is telling up and what we need to do accordingly
• Assist in evolving Private Banking data landscape by implementing core data capabilities to enable private banking growth strategy leveraging modern data architecture and technologies
• Contribute to the unique culture of Private Banking group by continually demonstrating commitment to coach and develop the team  and grow the professional capabilities of the group and yourself

What do you need to succeed?

• Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline
• Coding knowledge, to play a bridge between business and technical or partner teams 
• Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Excel, and Python
• Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a high standard output with attention to details
• Strong communication and presentation skills, to play a bridge role between technical and non-technical partners 
• Self-starter and takes ownership, with ability to work both collaboratively and independently 
• Able to absorb new concepts (business, processes, systems) and applies new knowledge quickly
• Critical thinker with an analytical mindset, problem solver, comfortable challenging the status quo for continuous improvement opportunities 
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and organization skills
