The DCCC is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the United States House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns, both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members with a variety of services, including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support, and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals, organizations, and Democratic Members from throughout the country.
The DCCC seeks talented and hardworking individuals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.
Position Summary:
The DCCC Internship Program offers an invaluable opportunity to engage with national level campaign style politics. Interns will gain insight into the operations of a national political committee while contributing to House Democratic campaigns.
The Summer Internship Program is a 13 week internship beginning Monday, May 18, 2026 and ending Friday, August 14, 2026. Applicants may choose between full-time or part-time internships and school credit is available upon request.
Accepted applicants are expected to be available for the entire program duration. Exceptions will be made only for emergencies due to the program’s length and intensity.
