POSITION: 21st Century Grant Coordinator
(Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish required)
*This role is designated as an extra duty position and duties will be assigned to a performance agreement. This is a grant funded position and is conditional upon continued funding availability.
LOCATION: Adventure Elementary
PAY RANGE: $5,000 Stipend
(Approximately 125 hours)
CALENDAR: March - June 2026
*Specific work dates will be determined with School Principal/Assistant Principal
TIMELINES: Staff program job postings up by March 9, 2026
Staff hired by March 20, 2026
Enrollment open to families by April 13, 2026
Student enrollment in programming is finalized by May 4, 2026
Fall After School Programing dates: June 1, 2026-June 12, 2026

SCHOOL DESIGN OVERVIEW:
Adventure Elementary is a dual language enrichment school where students are exposed to rigorous academics, learn to think critically, and demonstrate real-world understanding. Learning experiences and service-learning projects actively engage Adventure students in their education. What makes Adventure unique is that we offer all students the opportunity to become proficient in English and Spanish. All students participate in Crew meetings every morning. Crew is a sacred part of the day in which students and teachers build community within their rooms so that every child feels important and connected to a trusted adult and each other. SUMMARY:
Adventure Elementary received grant dollars to provide extended learning opportunities to students beginning with the 2024-25 school year. The grant funds have the possibility of extension for a total of five years. Adventure's Summer School program will run for the first two weeks in June, June 1-12. Students will attend full days.. Extended learning opportunities will provide dual language students with experiential learning opportunities and experiences to enrich and enhance their: second language, background knowledge, vocabulary, application of academic skills to broader contexts; and social-emotional skills and development. Parents will also be invited to attend a variety of activities alongside their children.
