Engineering Division – Aerostructure Engineering Internship Location: Sidney, BC and/or Mississauga, ON Please submit your academic transcripts with your application. The Engineering Division is offering a 16 month internship opportunity in Aerostructure Engineering. Role Overview The selected candidates will have the opportunity to: Provide support for Type Design Change projects as required. Draft and review drawing changes and DAO documents for type design changes under the direction of a design lead. Participate in integrated product development teams (IPDTs) as part of the engineering change notice (ECN) process. Modify, review, and create digital engineering data to support spares and production activities. Troubleshoot issues with digital definition. Assist in troubleshooting technical manufacturing issues and perform simple root cause analyses under the guidance of Methods Engineers. Create 2D/3D manufacturing data using , CATIA, SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Review existing engineering drawings and draft drawing changes to support design change projects. Support investigations and provide simple root cause analysis under supervision. Apply basic knowledge of stress analysis, material properties, and aerospace processing methods to support engineering change and manufacturing troubleshooting activities.
