Role OverviewWe are looking for an Amazon Connect / AWS Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based contact center solutions. This role focuses on developing Amazon Connect environments, integrating AWS services, and ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across implementations. Key Responsibilities Architecture & DesignDesign and build Amazon Connect solutions, including contact flows, IVR systems, and routing strategiesIntegrate Amazon Connect with AWS services such as Lambda and DynamoDBSupport scalable and efficient solution architecture Development & ImplementationDevelop AWS-based solutions using Java and Node.jsBuild and deploy infrastructure using CloudFormation or TerraformApply AWS security best practices across all implementations Performance & MonitoringMonitor system performance using AWS tools such as CloudWatchOptimize reliability, scalability, and system performanceEnsure high availability of contact center environments Documentation & SupportMaintain clear and up-to-date technical documentationProvide troubleshooting and ongoing support for existing solutions CollaborationWork with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and operationsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates Required Skills AWS & Cloud ExperienceStrong experience in AWS architecture or cloud engineeringHands-on expertise with Amazon Connect and related AWS services, including:Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Lex, Polly, IAM, Kinesis, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Redshift, Pinpoint, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, Cognito, Comprehend, Transcribe, Elasticsearch, and Direct Connect DevelopmentProficiency in Java and Node.jsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform) Security & MonitoringSolid understanding of AWS security best practicesExperience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools Nice to HaveExperience with additional AWS servicesFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum environmentsAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) Why Join ConnexWork with a highly skilled and collaborative teamHybrid flexibility in the Greater Toronto AreaOpportunity to grow within a fast-moving, technology-driven environment Apply NowIf you're passionate about building scalable cloud solutions and working with modern contact center technology, we’d love to hear from you.
