Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable cloud solutions;
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using modern practices;
  • Contribute to the optimization of continuous delivery and progressive deployment processes;
  • Ensure system monitoring, reliability, and robustness in production environments;
  • Apply best practices in cloud security and governance;
  • Maintain and update the project backlog to anticipate technical and functional needs;
  • Participate in incident resolution and continuous system improvement.


Qualifications

Keys to your success

  • 5 years of experience as a developer, including at least 2 years specializing in AWS development (SAM, Serverless Framework, CDK);
  • Experience with one or more technologies in the following categories:
    • Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Java;
    • AWS Cloud: Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, KMS, VPC;
    • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Concourse;
    • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm;
    • Service Mesh: Istio;
    • Development Tools: GitHub, VS Code, Azure DevOps;
    • Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL, Aurora, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, MongoDB;
    • Observability: OpenTelemetry (ADOT), with the ability to customize traces for detailed observability tailored to business needs;
    • Architecture: C4 modelling, writing Architecture Decision Records (ADR).
  • Ability to work with various methodologies (SAFe, Agile, Waterfall);
  • Strong team spirit and initiative, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Extra edge

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Developer Associate, AWS Architect Associate;
  • Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or other business sectors.

Language skills

  • French: Proficient
  • English: Proficient

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
