Business Analyst
Job Overview
The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial performance, operational analysis, and strategic planning within the business unit. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, producing performance reports, supporting forecasting activities, and assisting business development initiatives. The analyst will collaborate across finance, operations, and sales teams to provide insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze commission reports and validate compensation structures.
Prepare and issue E-Commerce profitability reports.
Analyze the General Ledger to identify trends, discrepancies, and performance insights.
Review and analyze the business unit’s Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
Analyze inbound revenue settlement reports and provide financial insights.
Issue Business Development (BD) reports and performance summaries.
Prepare and distribute compensation and sales target tracking reports.
Forecasting & Financial Planning
Host and lead the Monthly Forecast Meeting.
Maintain and update the forecasting spreadsheet and financial models.
Participate in Monthly CAPEX meetings to review investment planning and financial impact.
Strategic & Operational Support
Support strategy meetings by preparing analysis and performance insights.
Assist in reviewing operational costs to targets.
CRM, Data Management & Business Development Support
Maintain CRM records and activity tracking within Zoho CRM.
Create business review meeting templates for internal and client reporting.
Generate prospecting lists of potential companies for business development outreach
Meetings & Collaboration
Participate in the weekly operations & sales calls.
Administrative & Operational Support
Support internal reporting and documentation for the sales and operations team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, and /or electronics lifecycle management.
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
Experience analyzing financial statements including P&L and General Ledger.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred).
Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the IT lifecycle management recycling, logistics, or electronics resale industries.
Knowledge of e-commerce profitability analysis.
Experience supporting sales or business development teams with analytics.
