Preparing business cases in the Individual Insurance and Financial Services (AISF) sector to support investment decisions. Supporting the delivery of initiatives once they are approved.

  • Clarify the context related to the need (stakeholders, understanding of the problem, etc.)
  • Gather relevant information to define the current situation.
  • Confirm business needs
  • Confirm requirements
  • Develop solution scenarios Recommend a solution
  • Collaborate with the lead architect on scoping financial domains
  • Contribute to Strategic Business Cases on monetary exchanges
  • Identify solution components (including minimum viable product)
  • Document and model business processes
  • Estimate required costs and effort
  • Identify implementation risks
  • Establish an implementation plan
  • Analyze and document business processes
  • Coordinate procurement process requirements
  • Participate in the execution phase (product backlog management)

Requirements


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid experience in developing business cases
  • Knowledge of individual insurance and/or financial services
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant experience, including 3 years in preliminary project development (business cases, opportunity assessments)
  • Ability to work independently in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Have active participation in large-scale projects IIBA certification (an asset)
  • SAFe certification (an asset)
