How you will create an impact

This position as a Business Analyst is specifically to coordinate and oversee several financial and tracking functions for the claims team to ensure appropriate financial tracking and data accuracy for the team.  Stakeholder management is a key skillset as this analyst will need to work with internal and external stakeholders in obtaining information and addressing any issues.

  • Reconciliation of deductible billing for large loss sensitive programs (e.g. specific accounts)
  • Manual co-ordination of aggregate recoveries per Line of Business Tracking of Notice of Coverage process, including following up with underwriting for them
  • Provide them to the TPA's and tracking outstanding.
  • Quarterly Review of TPA loss runs to ensure compliance in reporting requirements.
  • Manage TPA mailbox (assignment, authority requests, TPAIR issues etc.)
  • Coordination/ oversight of financial transactions related to key captive or recovery type accounts
  • Coordination /prep for client stewardship meetings as needed 
  • Other duties, as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • College/University or equivalent industry experience
  • Ability to work independently to make decisions.
  • Strong financial background or understanding of finance
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including proficient use of Excel and ability to create pivot tables and formulas.
  • Experience in previous claims role would be an asset
