Job Description Summary:
The Business Analyst, Digital Solutions supports the production, enhancement, and ongoing operation of solutions related to Microsoft Dynamics, with additional support for the Access CA client portal. Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions, this role works closely with the Director and business and technology teams to help ensure tools, workflows, and supporting systems are effective, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
This role is well suited for a candidate who combines strong analytical skills with a practical, execution-oriented approach and a willingness to learn. The Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders, product and technology teams, and other internal groups to gather requirements, review business processes, support reporting and workflow needs, coordinate testing, and help manage issue resolution. This individual will also contribute to enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with strong listening skills and the ability to respond to support requests from users across the firm.
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Serve as business analyst supporting Microsoft Dynamics as a primary platform, along with the Access CA client portal and related digital tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, business rules, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Partner with the business, product, and technology teams to support the design, coordination, testing, and rollout of system enhancements and new functionality.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development, configuration, reporting, and quality assurance partners.
- Support the intake, triage, tracking, and resolution of production issues, enhancement requests, and user support needs related to Dynamics and connected business processes.
- Analyze reporting outputs, workflows, and user feedback to identify issues, trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process or system improvement.
- Develop and maintain business and system documentation, including requirements, process maps, business rules, test scenarios, support material, and user-facing documentation.
- Support user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios, coordinating participation, documenting defects, validating results, and tracking items through resolution.
- Support release readiness activities, including requirements clarifications, test planning, defect tracking, stakeholder communication and post-release validation.
- Prepare status updates, meeting materials, summaries, and other written communications for stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop training materials, job aids, and user documentation to support adoption and consistent use of tools and processes.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing support for colleagues using Dynamics, Access CA, and related digital tools.
- Build effective working relationships across departments and collaborate with stakeholders to support prioritization, timely execution, and successful delivery of initiatives.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and user needs to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, controls, and user experience.
- Stay current on relevant platform capabilities, reporting practices, and business analysis practices to support continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–4+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems analyst, reporting analyst, operations analyst, or similar role.
- Experience supporting business stakeholders in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and documenting solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred; experience with other CRM or platform-based business applications is also relevant.
- Experience supporting production environment, operational workflows, system enhancements or business process improvements.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear documentation, requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Experience with user acceptance testing, defect tracking, change management support, release coordination, or end-user training is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess processes, identify root causes, synthesize information and recommend practical steps.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology audiences.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and proactive approach with the ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with Power Bi or other reporting and visualization tools a plus

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
