CNA Needed in Bethesda: Wed–Fri Schedule (ASAP Start)

Location: Bethesda, MD

Schedule:

• Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to support a 71-year-old female client with limited mobility who requires full assistance with daily care. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, gentle, and comfortable providing hands-on support in a home setting.

Client Needs & Care Responsibilities:

Mobility & Transfers:

• Repositioning every 2 hours to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown
• Assist with walking using a walker
• Support with transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair)

Personal Care:

• Sponge bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Full assistance with hygiene and incontinence care (adult briefs)

Meal Support:

• Prepare simple meals
• Encourage hydration
• Assist with feeding as needed

Medication Reminders:

• Prompt and monitor multiple daily medications and supplements

Additional Considerations:

• Client has very limited mobility and slow speech/communication
• Swallowing difficulties present—caregiver should be attentive during meals
• Client is deeply spiritual; respect for her Greek Orthodox faith is important
• Frequent visits from friends and members of her church community

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with high-acuity or hospice-level care preferred
• Patient, compassionate, and attentive to detail
• Comfortable with full ADL support and mobility assistance
• Strong communication skills and a calm, supportive presence
