POSITION TITLE: Intern, Contracts & Compliance
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

ADB Companies is seeking a Contracts & Compliance Intern to join our in-house team at our national headquarters in St. Louis County, Missouri. This opportunity is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in contract administration and compliance within a fast-paced construction environment.

The selected candidate will work closely with our legal and risk team, supporting initiatives such as contract tracking and organization, compliance processes, documentation management, and general corporate support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, demonstrates strong time management skills, and brings an “All In” attitude to delivering results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Conduct research and draft summaries on legal, regulatory, and compliance topics to support business operations
  • Assist with reviewing, editing, and organizing commercial agreements and contract documentation
  • Support M&A activities through due diligence efforts, including document review and data organization
  • Help manage aspects of the litigation and claims process, including document collection, tracking, and coordination
  • Review and investigate claims, compiling findings and supporting documentation
  • Develop state-by-state compliance summaries and maintain regulatory reference materials
  • Assist in drafting and updating company policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  • Participate in meetings with leadership, including exposure to executive discussions and project reviews
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the legal and risk team as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO
  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing,
  • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
  • When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots.

This position pays $16 an hour.
