The Platoon team is looking for an organised and detail-driven coordinator to provide copyright, client and project management support across our music publishing operations. You will play a central role in keeping our repertoire accurate, our clients well-managed, and our processes running smoothly.
Perform end-to-end client and copyright onboarding processes \\nConduct copyright research and management, maintaining metadata accuracy across the catalogue \\nCoordinate projects and facilitate communication across teams within Apple \\nIdentify and troubleshoot issues, working cross-functionally to resolve them in a timely manner\\nMaintain strong relationships with songwriters, communicating clearly and professionally \\nProject manage the agreement and amendment signature process in partnership with legal teams \\nIdentify opportunities to develop Apple"s music publishing repertoire \\nServe as the first line of response for incoming queries across a variety of projects \\nPerform user acceptance testing for new and updated systems
Background in music publishing with an emphasis on copyright and client management, including end-to-end work registration \\nComfortable with music rights terminology and knowledgeable about royalty and data flows, including the role of collection societies \\nUnderstanding of the broadcast and production landscape and how music sits within it \\nExcellent understanding of music cue sheets \\nStrong organisational and administrative skills with a rigorous approach to accuracy \\nExcellent attention to detail, with consistent habits of self-review to ensure error-free output\\nEffective communicator β verbally and in writing β with internal and external partners \\nAble to work with data using internal tools and Excel
Experience working directly with songwriters and an understanding of their expectations\\nFamiliarity with agreement and amendment workflows in a publishing or rights management context \\nExperience performing user acceptance testing for rights or data management systems \\nConfident learning new tools and adapting to evolving processes in a fast-moving environment\\nTrack record of building connections across cross-functional teams in a large organisation
