Join Our Team as a Data Analyst - Sales Support (Summer Student)!

The Data Analyst will work closely with the Assistant Sales Support Manager and Sales Team to provide analytical insights that supports data-driven decision-making. They will support sales performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting initiatives, helping the Sales Team understand trends, identify opportunities, and improve overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Assistant Sales Support Manager and Sales Team with sales analytics, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics related to sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to gather data requirements and ensure data accuracy
  • Assist with data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure reliable and actionable insights
  • Support sales planning activities, including territory analysis, quota tracking, and customer segmentation
  • Help document sales processes, data definitions, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and transparency
  • Assist in testing and validating sales-related systems, reports, and analytics tools
  • Prepare presentations and analytical summaries for sales leadership to support information decision-making

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in sales and business decision-making
  • Proficiency or coursework exposure in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power bi, Tableau, Python, or similar analytics tools is an asset
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a team environment

Physical Effort:

Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.

Work Environment:

Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
