Deputy/Assistant Manager, Business Analyst (A&P) / IT Services (18-mth contract)

[What you will be working on]

  • Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with key stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve conflicting inputs, and differentiate between user requests and the underlying business needs.
  • Analyse and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project artefacts, including business cases, process flow diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications that are easily understood by both business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Assess third-party products and vendor solutions to ensure alignment with organisational, business, and technical requirements, supporting informed procurement and implementation decisions.
  • Present findings and propose solutions, managing the expectations of both business and technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to support the management of project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the IT digitalisation roadmap by identifying technological opportunities that enhance administrative efficiency.

[What we are looking for]

  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for senior-level roles.
  • Certified in Business Analysis, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Experienced in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including evaluating third-party software vendors, managing vendor relationships post-implementation, and supporting change management to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Preferred certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification is preferred.
  • Cloud-related certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate, are also preferred.
