DevOps Engineer

Position Description:

The DevOps Engineer within SRE focuses on enabling safe, fast, and repeatable software delivery across the Revive platform. This role builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer-facing tooling while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance standards are met for our production systems.

 This is a hybrid/remote role based in Boston, MA, offering flexibility while maintaining in-person collaboration. 

Duties: 

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our systems 
• Implement deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags) 
• Automate environment provisioning and configuration 
• Lead the consolidation of all web platforms 
• Perform proactive database maintenance and performance tuning 
• Maintain build, artifact, and deployment tooling 
• Enforce change management and approval workflows for high-risk systems 
• Reduce deployment-related incidents and manual intervention 
• Participate in incident response for release-related issues 
• Partner with application teams to improve release reliability, support release and rollback procedures, and integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines 
• Participates in a limited on-call rotation focused on deployment failures, pipeline outages, and release-related incidents           

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CodeDeploy, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Experience with Windows- and Linux-based systems
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulated or audited environments
• Healthcare or fintech platform experience
