Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, is recognized as a premier provider of modeling and simulation (M&S) training solutions to the Federal Government and industry. Since 2004, CESI has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and integrating simulation-based training, serious gaming, technical services, training and other support in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) domains. CESI also designs, builds and runs infrastructure, platforms, applications and processes that enable cyber training for the integrated multi-domain force. Research, develop, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools to automate the integration and deployment of complex DoD cybersecurity software applications. Maintain deployment of multiple software baselines with custom Virtual Machine (VM) and container configurations development, testing, and deployment activities. Ensure the DevOps environment facilitates designing, implementing, deploying, and executing automated tests, and investigating new technologies to continually improve DevOps processes. Collect, process, and present build, network, security, performance, and other information and metrics to show automation improvements or degradations over time. Balance hybrid cloud distribution between private corporate infrastructure and public clouds.
Support the implementation and operation of a fully automated CI-CD pipeline that leverages enterprise container and virtualization platforms
Monitor, maintain, install, and support networked virtual machines, containers and software applications
Assist software developers, integration, and test engineers to best utilize DevOps capabilities
Trouble-shoot capabilities to diagnose system problems;
Utilize an enterprise software development ticketing system to plan and track work
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university.
Three years of work experience preferred.
Security+ required within 6 months of date of hire
Additional certification are a definite plus or working towards a certification(s).
IAT Level II or greater. Security+, CISSP or other equivalent certification within six months of date of hire.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a TS/SCI security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $115,000 , Salary Maximum: $135,000
The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. When extending an offer, CESI also considers other variables such as (but not limited to) work experience, education, training, skill set, internal peer equity, clearance level, and market conditions.
