We’re looking for a permanent, full-time Business Analyst to join our IT team based in the 8330 Chester st. office in Vancouver, BC. It is required to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. This individual will report to the Vice President of IT.
Job Overview:
The ERP Business Analyst plays a critical role in enabling end-to-end business operations by delivering enterprise technology solutions across production, distribution, retail, finance and corporate functions.
This role sits at the core of business and technology transformation, shaping and driving how key processes and systems are designed, integrated, and continuously improved. It partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to define and deliver solution outcomes, resolve complex cross-functional business challenges, and ensure alignment of enterprise platforms across the organization.
The successful candidate brings deep ERP experience in complex, multi-system environments and a proven ability to translate business needs into end-to-end solution designs that improve operational efficiency, strengthen data integrity across systems, and enable measurable business performance improvements.
You will have the opportunity to work on:
Leading and owning business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design activities for enterprise systems and strategic initiatives.
Partnering with stakeholders across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, retail, and other business functions to understand business needs and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborating with internal technical teams and external vendors to evaluate solutions for feasibility and integration impact.
Providing recommendations on enterprise application strategy, business process optimization, and ERP best practices.
Translating business objectives into clear business and functional requirements and actively driving solution delivery with technical teams throughout backlog definition, refinement, prioritization and delivery alignment.
Evaluating solution options, assessing business fit and integration impacts, and contributing to business cases by identifying benefits, risks, and implementation considerations.
Analyzing integrations, performing data mapping, supporting integration design and troubleshooting activities.
Supporting the delivery of new applications, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
Leading testing activities, including test planning, test case development, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
Producing and maintaining business, functional, process, and solution documentation.
You will be a good fit if you have:
A university degree in computer science, business administration, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, or similar role within a manufacturing and retail environment.
Extensive end-to-end ERP experience across manufacturing-to-retail lifecycle processes, including planning, production, inventory management, supply chain, warehousing, and retail fulfillment/sales.
Strong understanding of ERP data flows and system-to-system dependencies, including how data moves across integrated enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, POS, and eCommerce platforms).
Experience with leading ERP implementations, upgrades, or major business transformation initiatives.
Experience owning, managing, and prioritizing backlogs in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong experience facilitating cross-functional discussions and aligning business and technical stakeholders in complex environments.
The ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications.
Experience with leading end-to-end validation, including test planning and execution.
Proven ability to operate in complex environments with competing priorities and translate them into structured delivery plans.
Preference is given to those who have:
Experience with INFOR CSI/Syteline
Familiarity with cloud technologies and system integrations, middleware, or enterprise integration frameworks (e.g., AWS / Azure / ION / Boomi / etc.).
Experience reading SQL queries or stored procedures for analysis and writing simple validation queries.
Working knowledge of SaaS platforms and vendor-supported solutions.
Exposure to test automation tools or API management platforms.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with BI, reporting, or analytics tools.
