Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.

• Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.

• Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

• Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.

• Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria

• Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team

• Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)

• Ensure teammates are utilizing enterprise tools and technologies and provide guidance (Like Github copilot)– improve developer experience

Required Qualifications:

• Five plus years with recent experience in designing and developing new applications in Java, Angular, SQL Server or Oracle.

• Five plus years experience using Java (SpringBoot) technologies to develop scalable enterprise-grade applications, libraries, and frameworks.

• Have used micro-frontend and microservices in the prior experience

• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka.

• Utilized DevOps technologies for CI/CD including Ansible, Jenkins, JFrog, and Git.

• Designed and implemented database development on SQL Server or Oracle.

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.

• Strong understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and support using agile methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to write specifications and design documents.

Desired Qualifications:

• Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.

• Experience with observability tools like Splunk.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$106,500.00 - $173,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
