Complete assigned closing tasks on a timely basis
Organize and maintain comprehensive files to support all audits
Adhere to timelines set in local closing calendars
Run reports to provide support for the daily Landing during the US Statutory quarter close period
Review quarterly variance analysis
Investigate possible anomalies during analysis of local results
Prepare various analytical reports and aid technical reporting and regulatory reporting departments with other special projects
Present data-driven recommendations to the Finance team
Experience:
Working towards the completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in insurance and/or Risk Management, Business, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, other business, analytical, or data related field, or advanced degree at an accredited college or university.
Strong academic performance and experience working on a variety of projects
Demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products (with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint)
Personal Competences:
Demonstrated leadership aptitude
Self-motivated with a desire to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Pay Range for roles performed in NY: $25.50-$27.50 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including
but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation
