Internship Program
The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level. Interns will be part of the Fire Protection Design Studio team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings and actively contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.
Schedule
The Summer Internship lasts 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the candidate's availability.
Responsibilities
Project Support:• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Design and Prototyping:• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.Testing and Quality Assurance:• Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of engineering solutions.• Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential issues.
Documentation:• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.• Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress.
Collaboration:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.• Participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback.Learning and Development:• Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.• Seek opportunities for continuous learning and development within the engineering field.
