About the Role

In this role, you will work in cross-functional teams of domain experts and engineers, tackling challenging software and system engineering topics in a dynamic and innovative field. You will contribute to web applications, REST APIs, and software solutions built on specialized development environments and frameworks.

Working with a global network of regional offices and clients, you will be part of a truly international team. You will be an active contributor throughout all stages of the development process, collaborating closely with highly motivated engineers and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work in cross-functional teams on software and system engineering topics across the full development lifecycle.
• Design and develop software components and system solutions across the technology stack, including web clients, application servers, back-office servers, databases, and system integrations.
• Support the continuous improvement of system and software architecture, with focus on infrastructure used across multiple client projects worldwide.
• Contribute to web applications, REST APIs, and support for multiple UI frameworks.
• Assist customers and internal teams with second-level support queries.
• Collaborate with global teams and customers in an international working environment.

Knowledge and Experience 

• Ideally 5 years of practical experience as a senior developer, architect, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Java and object-oriented programming languages, including C++.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Experience working with large and complex codebases.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, including security and scalability aspects.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Experience in customer support environments.
• Fluency in German and English.
