Intern - Port Jervis R&D Hourly SGA

Summary: Join our R&D team as a summer intern and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of cosmetic manufacturing. Collaborate with experts across departments and see your contributions come to life in products that reach consumers worldwide. Responsibilities:   Oversee the process on how to create and produce a product. Some examples but are not limited to: Concealers and foundations Lipsticks and lip glosses Loose and pressed powders Gain a basic understanding of raw materials and their function. Observe the chemists for scaleup batch process. After an adequate amount of shadowing, be able to make batches as directed by Group Leader. Translate procedures from R&D to a production standpoint. Learn terminology of the equipment used in production setting. Conduct and verify fill weight claims. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a Degree in Chemistry. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and part of a team
