Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience in J2EE application development, server-side/web services development, and enterprise-class applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a solid background in building secure, scalable REST services to support client-facing applications. This role requires experience in Health and Human Services (HHS) programs, specifically SNAP and TANF, along with exposure to Federal or State-level government environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-class applications on the J2EE application development platform
Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Develop and implement applications using J2EE Application Servers
Implement Authentication and Authorization mechanisms and caching strategies
Develop secure and scalable REST/SOAP web services
Implement REST service security using JWT, OAuth, and related standards
Build self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-level web services with end-to-end ownership of the services stack
Support and enhance REST services for client-facing applications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
Experience working in Federal or State government environments
Minimum 1 year of experience in Health and Human Services programs (SNAP and TANF)
Minimum 1 year of experience in Eligibility and Enrolment

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $104,000 - $115,000
