Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Orthopedic Care
Location: Paramus & Montvale, NJ (Travel between both locations required)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 5 × 8-hour shifts
  • Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Total Weekly Hours: 40
  • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in an orthopedic outpatient setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient and patient-centered care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments, including physiological and psychosocial data collection
  • Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and provide patient education
  • Support orthopedic procedures and follow clinical protocols
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as ambulation, hygiene, and meals
  • Maintain a safe patient environment and respond promptly to patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with RNs and providers regarding patient condition changes
  • Educate patients and caregivers based on individual needs
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and clinical information
  • Travel between clinic locations as required

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Licensure & Certification:

  • Active New Jersey LPN License (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) – American Heart Association (Required)

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of LPN experience preferred
  • Strong experience in orthopedic care settings
  • Knowledge of preoperative assessments and post-operative care
  • Experience with medication reconciliation and patient education
  • Flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations
