We are hiring a Manager and Team Lead, Application Business Analyst IT! Reporting To: Senior Manager, IT Business Analysis Full-Time/Part- Time: 1 year Contract Posting Date: April 9, 2026 Closing Date: April 23, 2026 Salary Range: $96,026 - $153,641 Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Grade: Office Location:      16.4 Toronto Great location! Steps away from the main public transit station What we offer: Highly competitive compensation package which includes a base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities! *Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment   The Opportunity   Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Business Analysis Community of Practice within IT, the Manager of Application Business Analyst, guides their team in Business Analysis principles. They excel in requirements gathering, documentation, and information management, partnering with Product Owners and Agile Delivery Team to ensure alignment with standards. Leading complex projects, they provide strategic guidance and mentor other BAs. Representing the BA Community, they establish and implement foundational practices, promote continuous improvement, and advocate for mentorship within the profession. They share accountability for the BA roadmap through problem-solving and process governance.                                                                                                                                                                                                      How you will contribute:   Help build and manage a team of high performing Business Analysts Support, coach, educate and train prospects in the best practices of the profession Promotes a ‘People Strategy” mindset to continuously attract, retain, develop and motivate team members Fosters an inclusive work environment, communicates vision, values and strategy Effectively manage succession and development planning Help establish and improve analysis KPIs as well as performance and work standards Promote high level of professional service by understanding Client needs across highly complex and cross functional initiatives Ensure the team delivers clear, accurate and thoroughly documented requirements that support both system and process changes Proficient in Agile Delivery Frameworks and Business Analysis Playbooks, providing continuous coaching and mentoring to the team on estimation, development, and maintenance of requirement work items, traceability matrices, and other project deliverables. Drives continuous improvement and ongoing strategy refinement of the IT Business Analysis Community of Practice across people, processes, guidelines, tools and supporting technologies Conducts interviews for new hires as required Conducts Performance Reviews Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager.   The experience you need:   Skills and Attributes: Demonstrated Business Analysis leadership with repeated practice in a variety of complex situations to bridge the gap between Business and Technology partners Considered as SME in the BA foundation irrespective of Product or Services, Technology or Platform and Line of Business they support Proven ability to influence at the Management level and above Deliver effective communications and presentation material at the executive level Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, adept at handling ambiguity, resistance, and resignation in any setting. Self-managed individual with the ability to deliver on enterprise objectives with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a seamless execution whether on-site or remote. Highly resourceful with a proactive / go-getter attitude, personable and thrives in a dynamic work environment Advance expertise in delivering and collaborating within a Matrix Environment Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives. Effective Team Building and Relationship Management skills Keen interest in new and emerging technologies Adherence to policies / procedures to ensure AML requirements are met when applicable Experience in large, cross functional enterprise initiatives within a fast-paced work culture is required Experience in the mortgage and/or financial services industry is preferred.   Education/Certification/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst (Senior Business Systems Analyst) for software development projects 2+ years of experience in management or equivalent leadership role within an IT Business Analysis team Prior experience in the development of the Business Analysis Community of Practice strongly preferred Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) required Certified PMP, CSM, CSPO, CDMP and ITIL are all assets Solid technical skills, including experience with programming languages, web technologies, and database systems.
