Job Description Summary
The Manager, Network Services is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the College’s network, server, and cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing IT services that support teaching, learning, and administrative functions across all college locations. This position supervises and develops a team of network and systems administrators, manages related projects and budgets, ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards, and oversees vendor relationships and service agreements. The Manager plays a key role in technology planning, policy development, and operational execution.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree (or higher) in computer science, information technology, or a related field required. (Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP ) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) certification may be substituted in lieu of a degree) For applicants with an Associate’s degree: Minimum of 7 years of experience with network and server administration, networking protocols, technologies, and security best practices, Windows Server and Linux server operating systems and virtualization technologies required. For applicants with a Bachelor’s degree, a certification (or higher): Minimum of 4 years of experience with network and server administration, networking protocols, technologies, and security best practices, Windows Server and Linux server operating systems and virtualization technologies required. 4 years of experience in a technology management or supervisory role that has overseen or led network engineers or systems administrators required. ITIL or COBIT Certifications preferred.
