Partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate designs and processes at the concept phase.\\nCollaborate closely with product design and manufacturing engineering teams to develop and manage material and part-level specifications.\\nLead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields.\\nWork with internal and external groups to ensure proper definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product.\\nDevelop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that achieve results-oriented specifications at substantial production scale for resins.\\nDevelop and implement groundbreaking quality inspection tools to evaluate cosmetic and dimensional characteristics for plastic.\\nSupport qualification of resin manufacturing process activities, including the development and alignment of inspection plans.\\nCoordinate all Quality Engineering functions for a program, serving as the project manager to lead efforts at resin manufacturing supplier locations.\\nEstablish audit procedures appropriate to the program and plastic material suppliers to ensure consistency with Apple quality standards.\\nTravel frequently to supplier sites to oversee operations and quality compliance.\\nLead complex problem-solving initiatives and conduct deep-dive failure analysis to identify root causes and resolve manufacturing or material defects.\\nCompile and evaluate data to resolve appropriate limits for plastic parts.\\nEvaluate and communicate yields of new and existing processes.\\nDrive corrective actions multi-functionally with internal and external team members based on failure analysis findings.\\n

BS or above in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field).\\n5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality control specifically for resin products.\\nHands-on experience with plastic manufacturing and molding processes.\\n

Working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, and general manufacturing operations.\\nExperience with the development and evaluation of measurement systems.\\nAdvanced failure analysis skills with a proven track record of diagnosing complex material and manufacturing defects to establish root cause.\\nProficiency in data analysis and statistical software (such as JMP) to evaluate process capabilities and drive data-backed decision making.\\nStrong understanding of problem-solving methodologies and tools, including Design of Experiments (DOE), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and statistical analytical tools.\\nExperience developing process quality plans, conducting supplier quality audits, and driving corrective actions.
