Part-Time Accounting Assistant / Accounting Intern

Unica Enterprises is seeking a motivated Accounting major currently enrolled at a local college or university to support our accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world accounting experience while maintaining flexibility for coursework. This role is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance who wants practical exposure to day-to-day business accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and code vendor invoices
• Assist with accounts payable processing
• Support payroll preparation and verification
• Perform basic account reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial records and digital files
• Assist with Excel schedules and reports
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting (preferred) or Finance degree program
• Junior, senior, or grad school  standing preferred 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High proficiency in Excel 
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Prior exposure to QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Office is located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, five minutes from Downtown Dallas. 
• Reliable transportation required
