The Psych Safety Patient Care Technician Intern (CNA) plays a vital role within the Patient Care Team, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this certified position, you will observe patients, deliver essential basic nursing care, and ensure a safe, therapeutic, and compassionate environment. This role is part of the float pool, where you will function in three key capacities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 patient observation
  • Offer camera monitoring for patients
  • Serve as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on the unit as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland CNA licensure is required.
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • Highschool diploma or GED is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 19.00/hour - Maximum 19.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
