Job Description

Position Summary
The Global Service Process Optimization Intern will support efforts to streamline, standardize, and modernize business processes within the Global Service organization. This role will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to document current‑state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help transition workflows to more scalable, enterprise tools.
This internship provides hands‑on experience in process optimization, digital workflow improvement, and change management within a global service environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Document and map cross‑functional business processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support design of future‑state processes aligned with operational and system capabilities
  • Assist with evaluation and migration of workflows from Smartsheet and email‑based processes to enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, ServiceMax, or similar tools)
  • Contribute to specific initiatives such as global escalation workflows, site setup processes, backorder management, and TCS‑related workflows
  • Assess Microsoft Teams and SharePoint usage; recommend and support improvements including consolidation, reorganization, and governance alignment
  • Develop clear process documentation, visuals, and summary materials to support stakeholder alignment and change adoption
  • Track actions, decisions, and outcomes related to process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Interest in process improvement, operational excellence, and change management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience or coursework related to process mapping, workflow design, or continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with ticketing or workflow systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ServiceMax, or similar)
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations
