Position Overview 

The Procurement Intern will serve as part of the Procurement team.   The intern will be involved in various aspects of ENCORE’s Procurement activities including preferred supplier onboarding, pricing, document, and lead time auditing, as well as reviewing and updating Microsoft BI reporting.  The role will provide an opportunity to leverage skills learned in college to execute Procurement and Supply Chain processes and data analysis.    

This position is based in Schiller Park, IL.  Temporary housing is not provided for this role.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing Procurement activities through the entire Procure-to-Pay process.
• Support auditing of preferred supplier data
• Assist in onboarding new suppliers into Oracle Cloud
• Review and ensure the relevance of internal and external training materials
• Answer Purchase Order and Procurement Self Service questions
• Assist with the review of Procurement related data to identify process improvement opportunities
• Participate in projects that will drive improved buying processes and reporting

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in process (one academic year away from completion)
• Financial acumen and analytical ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong positive attitude and desire to learn
• Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
