Join our dynamic Product Operations team. We lead the Operations technical teams during the development of the next generation products. As the technical lead for a product line, you will partner closely with multi disciplinary teams during all phases of development to enable product success.\\n\\nIn this position, you will have responsibility for products prior to launch, with the goal of enabling strong quality during the development cycle. This position partners with engineering, product development, reliability engineering operations, AppleCare, and component teams. Strong Quality engineering skills in technical, statistical knowledge, Failure analysis, Exec presentations, and program management experience are essential.\\n\\nTo be a successful team member within Product Operations you will partner with the Operations technical team (DFx, DFm, Test, SQE, PQE and others) during product development and high volume production. As a technical advisor for the product line, you will partner closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of development to enable operational success through to mass production.

Support technical readiness for during program development cycle\\nDrive project quality issues with material, process, fixtures, equipment etc. during the new-product phase to enable delivery of a mature product and manufacturing process into mass production\\nUtilize DOE, FMEA, and other industry-standard tools to proactively identify and address risks and optimize process parameters\\nEstablish quality programs and process control plans for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered\\nManage the Product Quality Plan (PQP), innovating as needed to ensure robust quality for new products\\nDevelop and implement new technologies to improve production quality, capacity, and efficiency\\nSuccinctly communicate technical updates to the executive team\\nOwn product quality strategy and execution\\nManage the quality processes at the OEMs, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)\\nEnsure contract manufacturers are prepared for pre-production builds\\nEvaluate prospective suppliers regarding quality management\\nIncorporate lessons learned from sustaining / shipping products into design and process improvements for next-generation products\\nWork with commodity managers and supplier quality engineers to ensure component quality \u0026 reliability; make recommendations to improve design/test\\nInternational travel up to 25%

BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent \\n5+ years of experience is Quality Engineering in a Manufacturing setting

MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent \\nLaser-focused on the smallest details and able to use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issues\\nProven experience in one or more of the following subject areas: New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations consumer electronics\\nGood understanding of electronic assembly processes\\nSolid understanding of statistical analysis and production control processes\\nKnowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation ; Tableau scripting and JMP scripting knowledge is preferred\\nExperience partnering with international contract manufacturers in mass production; experience traveling to manufacturing sites\\nMust be a self starter with innovation, integrity, and attention to detail\\nOutstanding communications skills
