Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your mission will be if you join the team:

In this context, you will be a part of the Montreal Team, and you will oversee the following missions:

• Study, analyze and estimate user stories in the Equity Finance Trading System business domain.
• Drive toward tech/non-tech solutions, assess either tactical or strategic approaches, assess timeframe of solution(s).
• Coordinate with business analysts and end users to understand development needs and obtain signoffs.
• Develop code artifacts, deployment plans, and technical upgrades in compliance with development standards.
• Coordinate with users to produce comprehensive test plans and develop user signoff criteria.
• Participate hands-on in the analysis and documentation of testing results and review with end-users.
• Participate in large software implementations covering quarterly upgrades and new functionality deployment.
Develop and implement internal user reports and extracts upon request.

Language: Bilingual required French and English.

The qualifications our team is looking for:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to work with complex information systems
• Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset
• Organized, methodical, and analytical approach
• Strong communication skills

You technical Skills:
JAVA | Angular | IBM/RabbitMQ | Spring Boot | GitHub | Jenkins | SQL | SQL Server | Docker | Kubernetes | REST API

What we are looking for:
• Experience in corporate and investment banking or finance is an asset
• Knowledge of financial markets (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.)
• Architecture skills are an asset
• Knowledge of Azure

Language Requirements: *Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is required, as this position involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 60,000 and $ 115,000 This role is an existing vacancy.
