To manage department and college review process and other projects for the office of faculty affairs and office of the provost

Job Description

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Department Reviews:  Yearly department reviews (3-5 departments per year) as directed by SKMC Dean.
  • Coordinate the yearly department reviews
  • Compose self-study guidelines (in conjunction with TJU Senior Vice Provost/SKMC Vice Dean of Faculty Affairs).
  • Attend all meetings.
  • Compose guidelines for the committee report.
  • Create/maintain canvas portal for each department.
  • Coordinate external reviewers visits/compose all associated communication.
  • Proof/edit draft copies of committee report.
  • Maintain chair recommendations/action plans yearly until the next scheduled review.
  • College Reviews:  Yearly college reviews (2 colleges per year) as directed by TJU Provost.
  • Coordinate 2 yearly college reviews.
  • Compose self-study guidelines (in conjunction with TJU Vice Provost/SKMC Vice Dean of Faculty Affairs).
  • Attend all meetings.
  • Compose guidelines for the committee report.
  • Create/maintain canvas portal for each college.
  • Coordinate external reviewers visits/compose all associated communication.
  • Proof/edit draft copies of committee report.
  • Maintain dean recommendations/action plans yearly until the next scheduled review.
  • Facilities Coordinator for College/Curtis Buildings:  Plan and coordinate new installations and renovations for College/Curtis Buildings.
  • Includes allocating office space according to needs, design, IS&T, furniture, etc.
  • Advises on projects related to renovations, construction, and upgrades. Often works with our Facilities department and outside contractors/vendors.
  • Other projects: accept and manage other projects as assigned by the office of faculty affairs or office of the provost including other one time projects and ongoing projects

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 plus years experience in academic intuitions operations. Experience in educational or quality program review desired
