The Gist…

We are seeking a Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to support the identification, analysis, and delivery of automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UiPath and a proven ability to engage stakeholders, analyze business processes, and translate requirements into actionable automation opportunities.

 

This role blends hands-on business analysis with project leadership responsibilities for a small delivery team. The selected candidate will serve as the primary interface with stakeholders, guide project execution, and ensure successful delivery of RPA solutions, while remaining deeply involved in requirements gathering, process analysis, and opportunity identification.

Project Management & Delivery Oversight

  • Lead delivery of RPA initiatives for a small team consisting of developers and business analysts
  • Plan, track, and manage project activities, deliverables, timelines, and priorities
  • Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of automation solutions aligned to stakeholder expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, providing regular updates on status, risks, and outcomes
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and coordination for the team
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment
  • Support team members through coaching, feedback, and alignment on priorities
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across team members and stakeholders

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Lead discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Analyze current-state processes and document future-state improvements
  • Develop detailed business and functional requirements, including process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with RPA developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly
  • Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate automation outcomes

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on RPA capabilities and opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Facilitate alignment between stakeholders and development teams throughout the automation lifecycle

RPA Opportunity Identification & Outreach

  • Develop and execute an outreach strategy to identify new stakeholders and automation opportunities
  • Proactively engage business units to uncover high-value processes suitable for automation
  • Evaluate and prioritize automation candidates based on feasibility, complexity, and business impact
  • Maintain a pipeline of automation opportunities and support prioritization efforts

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a government setting.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • UiPath experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing projects involving robotic process automation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Understanding of federal contracting and compliance requirements.
