Primary Objective:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering systems integration projects from initiation through completion. This role owns project scope, schedule, budget, and customer communication, and works cross-functionally with Field Operations, Engineering, Testing, and other internal teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct job site surveys and prepare the equipment and resource requirements on a per project basis
  • Determine manpower requirements and develop operational plans to meet retrofit job completion timelines and site turn-up. Coordinate third-party subcontractors as needed
  • Meet with developers and general contractors as needed to determine resource needs to execute jobs on the customers required new construction timelines
  • Work with the regional supervisor to hire, train and assist install technicians in pursuit of their career development progression
  • Ensure all work is completed to National/Local electric codes and coordinate with customers local AHJ's throughout the inspection process.
  • Able to interact with customers and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Deliver projects within budgeted costs and specified timelines
  • Deliver projects with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 -7 years of experience managing low voltage or integration jobs from project start until completion
  • Knowledgeable on all aspects of low voltage security requirements in regard to infrastructure, trim as well as all technical aspects of the integration and installation
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and execute in a growing and challenging fast paced environment
  • Project management experience required
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. Communicate heavily with both internal and external
  • customers
  • Travel required 65% of the time - Company vehicle will be provided.
  • Valid Drivers License

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company or personal vehicle as required for travel to customer and job sites.
  • Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, in accordance with company driving standards and applicable laws.
  • Florida: Meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain FASA/BASA certifications, as required by state and regulatory standards.
  • Texas: Meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required state alarm license, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate ability to clearly read, write and understand English. Spanish is a plus.

  • Location Variability: Work is performed primarily at client sites, which can include commercial buildings, construction sites, industrial facilities, and outdoor areas.
  • Exposure to Elements: Technicians may work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and be exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and moderate to loud noises.
  • Hazards: Potential exposure to hazards such as live electricity/high voltage, electrical wiring, confined spaces, and working with heavy machinery. Strict adherence to safety protocols (e.g., OSHA standards, proper PPE use) is mandatory.
  • Independent Work & Travel: The role requires the ability to work independently in field environments, manage inventory, and involve overnight travel within a designated service area.
  • Schedule: While primary hours may be standard, the role often requires flexibility to work after-hours, on weekends, or during emergencies.
