Must haves:

• 7+ years working experience as a Business Analyst on health care\/IT projects<\/span>

  Responsibilities:
  <\/p>

  • Work with lines of Agency assets such as Provincial Care Coordination Product, Provincial Health Service Directory Product (business, architects, developers, UI and UX designers to collect and analyze requirements (i.e. business, integration, interface, data, and non\-functional requirements) for new builds, enhancements)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Work with both Central Intake vendors and Agency asset product owners to create\/update\/refine user stories, leverage techniques to drive out business priorities and maintain backlog.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to agile sprint reviews, product demos and retrospectives.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Document business and system solutions using Agile methodology techniques, as well as support the development of test scripts for end to end functional testing.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Co\-ordination and facilitation of stakeholder meetings, with clear agendas, minutes and follow up.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with project initiation and governance by preparing necessary documents and reports.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Help identify risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure performance and customer experience metrics are defined, measured and reported on a regular basis.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Work with project manager to support continuous improvement of processes to optimize team productivity, quality and time\-to\-market.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage multiple tasks, work assignments simultaneously, and meet delivery dates, while working under pressure and tight deadlines.<\/span>

    • College\/University undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • 7+ years working experience as a Business Analyst on healthcare\/IT projects<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 3+ years of working experience on medium\-to\-high complexity Agile initiatives<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work with Technology teams and business users<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge\/experience in Cloud technologies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of Provincial healthcare systems<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of agile principles and experience in scrum methodology<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent analytical, problem\-solving and decision\-making skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Excellent documentation, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Ability to work in fast\-paced environment with proven ability to multitask<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)<\/span>

      • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation and communication and documentation skills<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • General knowledge of Provincial healthcare systems<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management, Experience in Agile environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • General knowledge of privacy practices and policies, ideally Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPPA)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
