RQ00548 - Business Analyst - Intermediate

The purpose of this request is to acquire a Business Analyst to provide support and analytical activities related to foundational elements of the electronic health record (EHR) including the Provincial Client Registry (PCR), Provincial Provider Registry, Monitoring and Control Application (MCTA), Provincial Consent Override Interface (PCOI) and Consent Management Technology Asset (CMTA<\/span>

Must haves:
<\/p>

• Minimum 4\-5 years’ business analyst experience within electronic health\-related projects, ideally with experience with clinical software systems  <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Minimum 2 \-3 years’ experience with and knowledge of business analyst concepts <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Minimum 2\-3 years’ experience with healthcare information systems and data workflows <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and strong stakeholder engagement skills <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution     <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Demonstrated experience managing projects or programs in matrix organizational environments<\/span>
  <\/li> <\/ul>

  Desired Skills:
  <\/p>

  •  College\/University undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Knowledge of health information data flows <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with health system business implementation and deployment projects<\/span>
    <\/li>
  •  Experience in liaising with customers\/stakeholders where customer service was a key focus to responding to queries, issues\/risk management, etc. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  •  Experience documenting and refining business requirements<\/span>

    Responsibilities:
    <\/p>

    • The Business Analyst will be responsible for the support and analytical activities related to Provincial Client Registry (PCR), Provincial Provider Registry (PPR), Monitoring and Control Application (MCTA), Provincial Consent Override Interface (PCOI) and Consent Management Technology Asset (CMTA).  <\/span>

      • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating strength in presentation skills, verbal, written, active listening, conflict resolution and stress tolerance 20 Points
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Experience with provincial support models and requirements gathering 15 Points
        <\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

        Deliverables:
        <\/p>

        • Contribute towards the Integrated Program Roadmaps reflecting the timelines and deliverables
          <\/li>
        • Define requirements for the PCR, PPR, MCTA, PCOI and CMTA integrations
          <\/li>
        • Define requirements for enhancement of PCOI interfaces
          <\/li>
        • Define requirements for PCR, PPR, MCTA, PCOI and CMTA support models 
          <\/li>
        • Define requirements for transaction reports for data disclosure and operational reports
          <\/li>
        • Document process for leveraging the EHR consent and override methodology within the EHR
          <\/li> <\/ul>
