Responsibilities <\/span>

  • Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs. <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements. <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization. <\/span>

    General Skills <\/span>
    <\/div>
    • Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess client’s business problems\/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Applies re\-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process, and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost\-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives <\/span>

    • Develops sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, etc. <\/span>

    • Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non\-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders <\/span>

    • Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation and conducts follow\-up <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience developing strategies, preparing business cases and cost\-benefit analysis <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement <\/span>

        <\/h3>
        • Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in requirements gathering, developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), creating process maps, and planning, organizing, and executing testing initiatives.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Extensive experience in manual functional and non\-functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and AODA accessibility testing.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Proven ability to lead and conduct business analysis activities for projects, assess business problems and opportunities, and translate functional needs into clear technical business requirements.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Skilled in preparing high\-level cost estimates aligned with project scope and timelines.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Strong understanding of application development methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Knowledgeable in using tools that support Web Accessibility testing in compliance with AODA legislation.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Experienced in Agile\-Scrum environments, with hands\-on use of standard and DevOps processes and tools.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Provide cross\-training and knowledge transfer to project and team members.

          Technical Experience (35%)
          <\/h3>
          • Strong knowledge and hands\-on experience with OpenText Content Suite xECM and related OpenText products.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), and project management methodologies.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with analysis and design methodologies, including structured testing approaches.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Proven track record working on medium\- to large\-scale projects as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with enterprise business architecture principles to ensure technology recommendations align with organizational goals.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Skilled in developing complete business cases from initiation through approval.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience in service delivery management, including portfolio, program\/project management, and resource management to support business analysis activities and advise on I&IT needs.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Proficient in documenting and analyzing business requirements and functional designs.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Knowledge of risk\-based and evidence\-based testing practices.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Skilled in analyzing business rules to support the development of test cases, traceability matrices, and expected result definitions.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with creating test data, test scenarios, and test user accounts.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Ability to write database queries for test data extraction and validation of data integrity.
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Experience defining entry, exit, and acceptance testing criteria.

          • Public sector experience.
