Job Description: 

Sales Operations plays a key role in the successful growth and expansion of Cloudera, being directly involved in planning, forecasting, territory management, compensation design and go to market initiatives. The function acts as a trusted advisor to the business in enabling the teams to make the right data driven decisions.

As a key member of our APAC Field Operations team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting sales growth and operational efficiency across the region. This is a high-impact role focused on sales forecasting, territory management, reporting, and enabling go-to-market success across direct and channel segments. As a Sales Operations Business Analyst (APAC), you will:

  • Own and manage core sales operations functions across the APAC region, including forecasting, quota setting, territory design, and sales performance tracking.

  • Partner directly with APAC Sales Leadership to drive data-informed business decisions and optimize sales execution.

  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and Salesforce reports to support planning, pipeline analysis, and business reviews.

  • Lead and support strategic initiatives across field automation, business process improvement, and systems implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Marketing, and Global Operations to align on business objectives and enable go-to-market success.

  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining processes and enabling scalable, data-driven practices across sales teams.

  • Represent APAC in global operations forums to ensure regional priorities are well-integrated with corporate strategies.

  • Provide insightful analytics and reporting on key sales metrics to senior stakeholders.

  • Enable field teams through training, adoption programs, and change management for new tools, processes, and reporting standards.
     

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 

  • 5–7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or related roles, preferably in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment.

  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, territory planning, quota management, and CRM systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and advanced proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and/or Google Sheets.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to drive cross-functional projects from analysis to implementation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across business units.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance strategic projects with day-to-day operational needs.
     

It's a plus if you have:

  • Experience in managing stakeholder expectations across multiple functions and geographies.

  • Business language skills in Mandarin highly desirable
