SAP Forklift Operator

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Orange, Texas area:

SAP FORKLIFT OPERATOR
5 x 10 DAYS

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as a Forklift Operator in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.  Forklift operators drive gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to lift or move products, equipment, or materials.  SAP experience is a requirement for this position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
• Positions forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials
• Unloads and stacks material by raising or lowering lifting device
• May inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
• May load or unload materials onto or off pallets or skids
• May lubricate brick, recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace liquefied gas tanks
• Manage inventory and track materials using SAP

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time.   This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.  The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.  All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
