We are seeking a seasoned, hands\-on <\/span><\/span>Senior S\/4HANA SCM Architect<\/span><\/span><\/b> to lead large\-scale SAP transformation programs. This is a builder\-leader role: you will own the <\/span><\/span>end\-to\-end SCM solution blueprint <\/span><\/span><\/b>spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfillment—while personally engaging in <\/span><\/span>configuration, prototyping, and guiding build teams<\/span><\/span><\/b>.

You will be responsible for defining the system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with adjacent platforms (IBP, BTP, SAP Integration Suite), and driving implementation quality from discovery through hypercare.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

The role requires deep expertise across the entire SCM suite in S\/4HANA:
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Manufacturing (PP):<\/span><\/span><\/b> Discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing; master data (BOMs, routings, work centers); shop\-floor execution and quality gates (QM).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Procurement (MM\/P2P):<\/span><\/span><\/b> Source\-to\-contract processes, advanced pricing and conditions, supplier collaboration, consignment, and subcontracting.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Warehouse Management (EWM):<\/span><\/span><\/b> Deep expertise required, including design and configuration for both <\/span><\/span>Embedded and Decentralized EWM<\/span><\/span><\/b>. Focus areas: inbound\/outbound, wave management, slotting, rearrangement, RF processing, and labor management basics.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Planning & Fulfillment:<\/span><\/span><\/b> MRP Live, demand\/supply planning, PP\/PP\-DS fundamentals, and the use of <\/span><\/span>Advanced Available\-to\-Promise (aATP)<\/span><\/span><\/b> for substitutions, allocations, and back order processing.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Logistics & Integration:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Integration with Transportation Management (TM), Global Trade\/Sanctions Screening, and fulfillment processes (PGI).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Data & Analytics:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Defining master data governance touchpoints, leading large\-scale data migration\/cut over efforts, and designing inventory accuracy KPIs using <\/span><\/span>Embedded Analytics (CDS views)<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Extensibility & Cloud:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Hands\-on experience defining the integration architecture using <\/span><\/span>SAP Integration Suite (CPI)<\/span><\/span><\/b> for EDI, 3PL, WMS, and TMS partners, and designing side\-by\-side custom applications using <\/span><\/span>SAP BTP (RAP\/CAP)<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span>

    • Architecture Ownership:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Own the SCM architecture for major S\/4HANA programs (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition) from blueprint through go\-live.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Hands\-On Configuration:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Perform direct configuration in core SCM areas (<\/span><\/span>MM, PP, EWM, aATP<\/span><\/span><\/b>) to build prototypes and validate <\/span><\/span>fit\-to\-standard<\/span><\/span><\/b> decisions versus custom extensions.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Process Design:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Define and own end\-to\-end process designs (Plan\-Buy\-Make\-Move\-Sell), defining operational runbooks, error handling, and performance standards (NFRs).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Governance & Quality:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Establish rigorous governance, solution standards, transport controls, and define the overall testing strategy, including test automation (e.g., with Tosca).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Leadership & Mentoring:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Partner with program leadership on estimation and solution reviews, and actively <\/span><\/span>mentor<\/span><\/span><\/b> junior consultants to enforce high standards of delivery quality.<\/span>

      • Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>15+ years<\/span><\/span><\/b> of SAP experience with <\/span><\/span>7+ years focused on S\/4HANA SCM<\/span><\/span><\/b> (Public, Private Cloud, or On\-Premise).<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Leadership:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Must have <\/span><\/span>led 3+ end\-to\-end S\/4 implementations<\/span><\/span><\/b> in SCM as the Solution or Enterprise Architect.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Hands\-On Core SCM:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Deep configuration expertise in <\/span><\/span>MM, PP, and EWM<\/span><\/span><\/b> (must\-have) and practical knowledge of <\/span><\/span>aATP<\/span><\/span><\/b> and Quality Management (QM).<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Integration:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Solid hands\-on background with <\/span><\/span>SAP Integration Suite (CPI)<\/span><\/span><\/b>, IDoc\/API management, and aligning integration with 3PL\/TMS\/MES\/IBP systems.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Data Migration:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Proven experience leading <\/span><\/span>cutover and data migration<\/span><\/span><\/b> for SCM objects (Material Master, BoM\/Routings, Open POs\/PRs, Inventory).<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Communication:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting to <\/span><\/span>VP\/CXO audiences<\/span><\/span><\/b> and driving clear decision logs.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Location:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Must be willing to <\/span><\/span>relocate to Carmel, IN or Atlanta, GA<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span>

        • Exposure to <\/span><\/span>PP\-DS, TM, Global Trade Services (GTS)<\/span><\/span><\/b>, and serialization\/GS1 standards.<\/span>

        • Familiarity with test automation tools like <\/span><\/span>Tosca<\/span><\/span><\/b> and experience with <\/span><\/span>SAP MDG<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span>
