We are expanding in Atlantic Canada and seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience leading requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and solution design.
• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Develop clear business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across diverse teams.
• Act as a liaison between business units, project managers, technical teams, and vendors.
• Support project planning, business cases, risk assessments, and implementation activities.
• Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements aligned with organizational standards.
• Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for a wide range of audiences.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, privacy requirements, and accessibility standards.
• Build effective relationships and manage expectations among internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into clear documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management and change management practices.
Preferred
• Experience working in the public sector or within regulated environments.
• Knowledge of business analysis or project frameworks such as BABOK, Agile/Scrum, Lean, or Prosci.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or Scrum Master.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, enterprise systems, or service delivery modernization projects.
