Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

Required:
• Experience with Eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements (8+ years).
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (8+ years).
• Experience with Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement (8+ years).
• Experience with Developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices (8+ years).
• Experience with Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices (5+ years).
• Experience with Atlassian Jira (5+ years).

Preferred:
• CRM domain expertise with a strong understanding of CRM workflows, data models, and user needs (3+ years).
• Experience working with TEA or any federal, state, or local government agency (3+ years).
• Experience with the Texas charter school application, authorization, or renewal process (2+ years)
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).

Responsibilities:
• Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and computer system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems.
• Elicit requirements using joint application development (JAD), interviews, document analysis, surveys, use cases, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis.
• Transform information from elicitation sessions into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, software requirements specifications documents, wireframes, and mockups.
• Use standard templates and simple, unambiguous, and concise natural language.
• Act as a mentor to peers and colleagues in disseminating best practices and proactively seek out training opportunities.
• Use tools, such as Jira and Modern Requirements, to manage the change control process, participate in the SDLC, and track and communicate requirements status.
