Senior Full Stack Developer (Azure & Data Platforms)

Position Description:

Security Clearance: Reliability (must have 5+ years residency in Canada; clearance granted or eligible)

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our fast‑paced Agile team. The ideal candidate has strong end‑to‑end development capabilities, experience with cloud data tools, and the ability to build modern dashboards, APIs, and AI‑driven integrations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Design and implement frontend and backend components for cloud‑based applications
- Develop scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL) to support data and application workflows
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Create intuitive, visually effective dashboards and data visualizations
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI tools through API wrappers
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment
- Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Evaluate and integrate open‑source tools where appropriate
- Participate in code reviews and support best engineering practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Full stack development experience across frontend and backend
- Mandatory: Solid experience with React, DataBricks and Azure Data Factory
- Experience developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Experience integrating LLMs and working with AI/ML APIs
- Dashboarding and data visualization experience
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong grounding in open‑source libraries, tooling, and frameworks
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross‑functional teams

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000–$140,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
