Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET / Angular) – FinTech

Position Description:

Our client develops software solutions for major financial centers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The objective is to maintain competitive solutions to support growth, launch new products, and seize new opportunities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deliver new features, including technical design, testing, documentation, and quality metrics tracking
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to understand business needs and present developed solutions
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos)
- Ensure code quality and contribute to operational support when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD practices and process automation
- Participate in architectural decisions and technology choices
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in an international environment
- Promote development best practices (TDD, design patterns, code quality)
- Contribute to team life and internal initiatives (communities, knowledge sharing)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Must reside in the Greater Montreal area
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Bilingualism required (comfortable in both French and English)
- Ability to work onsite at the client location in Montreal 4 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with C#.NET and Angular.
- Experience working with complex and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and methodical approach
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Assets :
- Experience in FinTech or financial systems
- Experience in international or distributed environments
- Contribution to DevOps initiatives or advanced automation

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $135,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
