Senior HR Systems Business Analyst (Workday / ServiceNow) <\/b><\/div>

Support a global insurance leader as a digital business analyst and test lead, working on innovative HR tech initiatives including AI enablement and digital transformation. Hybrid role based in Toronto or Waterloo. Key tools: Workday, ServiceNow HRSD. Strategic HR domain focus with strong UAT leadership and testing oversight. <\/div>

• Salaried: $50 -55 per hour. <\/div>
• Incorporated Business Rate: $60 -65 per hour. <\/div>
• 18 months, with potential extension based on business needs and performance. <\/div>
• Full -time position: 37.50 hours per week. <\/div>
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm; some meetings may begin as early as 8:00 am to accommodate global collaboration. <\/div>
• In -office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday. <\/div>
• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays. <\/div>
• Occasional evening calls with colleagues in Asia as part of a global HR technology team. <\/div>

Responsibilities: <\/b><\/div>
<\/div>
• Facilitate business and user requirements gathering with HR partners. <\/div>
• Document functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria aligned with human -centered design. <\/div>
• Define and maintain test strategies for functional and non -functional requirements. <\/div>
• Oversee test planning, execution, traceability, and regression suite development. <\/div>
• Lead UAT preparation, execution, triage, and hypercare. <\/div>
• Manage test environments and ensure synthetic data is used to protect confidentiality. <\/div>
• Coordinate defect triage and publish metrics on coverage, pass rate, and defects. <\/div>
• Collaborate on accessibility, performance, and privacy compliance with cross -functional teams. <\/div>
• Contribute to continuous improvement through documentation and process enhancements. <\/div>
• Support change management and readiness activities tied to vendor releases. <\/div>

What you will need to succeed:<\/b> <\/b><\/div>
<\/div>
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. <\/div>
• CHRP/CHRL, PMP certification, or human -centered design knowledge is preferred. <\/div>
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or HR Systems Analyst in enterprise HR technology. <\/div>
• Hands -on experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow HRSD, including modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Time & Absence. <\/div>
• Proven leadership in test strategy, planning, execution oversight, and defect management. <\/div>
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (agile or waterfall) and functional/non -functional testing. <\/div>
• Proficiency in test and defect management tools such as Test Plans/Xray and JIRA. <\/div>
• Experience documenting business requirements and leading workshops or UAT sessions. <\/div>
• Familiarity with accessibility and performance testing and HR data privacy standards. <\/div>
• Experience in global organizations or working with vendors in HR tech ecosystems. <\/div>
• Technical aptitude or configuration experience is an asset. <\/div>
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. <\/div>
