The SAP FICO Architect will be responsible for defining the global financial template, leading high-level design workshops, and ensuring the technical and functional integrity of SAP S/4HANA transformations. You will act as the primary liaison between business leadership and the technical delivery teams, providing a strategic roadmap for financial excellence.
Strategic Design & Governance: Lead the overall architecture for SAP S/4HANA transformations (Greenfield/Brownfield), ensuring a "Clean Core" strategy using SAP Activate methodology.
Landscape Integration: Architect seamless data flows between FICO and logistics modules (MM, SD, PP) to support advanced manufacturing processes like Actual Costing and Material Ledger.
Migration Leadership: Oversee complex Brownfield Conversions, including system readiness checks, simplification item analysis, and custom code remediation strategy.
Process Innovation: Design solutions for Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), cost allocations, and performance reporting that align with global regulatory and tax compliance.
Solution Validation: Govern the creation of functional specifications, RICEFW objects, and technical design documents to ensure scalability and sustainability.
Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, translating complex financial requirements into robust SAP solution blueprints.
Experience: 12–15+ years in SAP FICO, with at least 3–5 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or conversions in an Architect capacity.
Technical Breadth: Mastery of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Product Costing, CO-PA, ML) alongside a deep understanding of SAP BTP and Fiori.
Industry Knowledge: Specific expertise in Manufacturing or Agro-based business processes, including inventory valuation and supply chain finance.
Migration Tools: Hands-on experience with SUM/DMO, SAP Readiness Check, and Migration Cockpit.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT. Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or SAP Certified Solution Architect are highly preferred.
