Proskauer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact marketing and business development initiatives that support the firm’s transformational growth strategy. This role will partner with senior leadership, lawyers, and cross-functional teams to drive projects that enhance client engagement, brand positioning, and business development effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver complex initiatives in a professional services environment.



Responsibilities

Strategic Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of marketing and business development projects aligned with firm-wide strategic priorities.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop project charters, roadmaps, and KPIs to track progress and measure impact.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with lawyers, practice group leaders, and business services teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and align on goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business development, marketing, communications, IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.

Change & Transformation Leadership

  • Support firm-wide transformation initiatives, including digital marketing, client relationship management (CRM), thought leadership campaigns, and market expansion programs.
  • Lead project management efforts for the firm’s rebrand initiative, ensuring seamless execution across marketing, business development, communications, and client-facing touchpoints.
  • Champion change management practices to encourage adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • 10 years of project management experience, ideally in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment.
  • Proven track record managing marketing, business development, or digital transformation projects.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands 
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in high-pressure situations and a fast-paced, multi-authority environment
  • Highly collaborative, valuing teamwork and open and respectful communication; builds open and trusting relationships 
  • Comfort with working with all levels of management
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills


This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $160,000-$190,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
